EATING DISORDERS

Having worked for nine years as the Senior Family Therapist in an NHS Eating Disorders Service I have had wide ranging experience in this complex area of work for over twelve years.

If you believe that you, or someone close to you, may be suffering from an eating disorder, for example anorexia or bulimia, then please feel free to contact me for an informal conversation about the best way forward.

My work in this area focuses on involving both the person suffering directly and family members, to deliver a coordiated response to the struggles of escaping an eating disorder.

Eating disorders, sadly, carry a high risk to health and mortality. All of my work in this area is, therefore, subject to ongoing assessment of risk.
